Ocean Sonics CEO Nominated for Ernest C. Manning Award
Earlier this week the Ernest C. Manning Awards Foundation released the nominees shortlist for the 2018 Ernest C.Manning Awards. Among the nominees are the CEO’s of three Atlantic Canadian companies, including Ocean Sonics CEO, Mark Wood.
Mark Wood has been working with ocean acoustics in Great Village, NS, since 2000. Ocean Sonics designs and builds innovative products to improve the quality and success of underwater sound measurements. Other Atlantic Canadian nominees include: Chris Cowper-Smith, Stephen Fitzgerald and Robert Garrish of Spring Loaded Technology in Halifax, NS, and Scott Everett of Eigen Innovations in Fredricton, NB.
Atlantic Canadian nominees will be honoured on June 14th at a reception at Emera headquarters in Halifax, featuring a keynote address by Chris Huskilson, former CEO of Emera. All nominees will be considered for the national awards at the awards gala in Toronto this November.
